New England Muslim Festival

The New England Muslim Festival (NEMF) is an annual celebration that brings together communities from across the region to experience the beauty of Muslim culture, food, traditions, and heritage. Hosted by the Muslim Heritage Foundation, Inc.

In partnership with local Islamic centers and organizations, the festival is open to everyone — Muslim and non-Muslim alike — to enjoy a day of unity, joy, and cultural exchange.

2016

1ST NEMF at Malden City Plaza, Malden, MA (2,000+ attended, MPD estimate)

2017

2nd NEMF held at Cambridge Health Alliance, Malden, MA - September 17, 2017 (5,000+ attended, MPD estimate)

2018 - 2022

COVID-19 took a few years to re group, Alhamdulillah

2023

3rd NEMF held at Malden Islamic Center, 409 Pine Street, Malden, MA (3,000+ in attendance, MPD estimate)

2024

4th NEMF held at Boston City Hall, 1 City Square Plaza, Boston, MA (6,000+ attended BPD estimate)

2025

The 5th North East Muslim Festival (NEMF) was successfully held at the Islamic Center of New England (ICNE)

Our Mission

Our mission is to celebrate diversity, strengthen community bonds, and promote mutual understanding through a festival that showcases the rich contributions of the Muslim community in New England. Guided by values of inclusivity, service, and collaboration, we aim to create a platform where families, businesses, organizations, and individuals can connect and grow together.
