New England Muslim Festival 2023 Rules and Guidelines


  • Food vendors must have required permits, licenses, and insurance as per City of Malden regulations.
  • Food vendors will only be allowed access to the Festival with proper registration/permits from the City of Malden. 
  • Food vendors MUST have two tents to cover all prep and serve areas – no food vendor can set up without a tent or canopy.
  • Set up will ONLY be Sunday morning between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. NO Saturday load-in. Plan to arrive early, please.
  • Vendors will be given the number of their assigned space at the entrance starting at 8:00 am on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
  • Food Vendors must bring two tents to cover their area (except for food cart vendors)
    • Food Truck – per truck $200 (includes 4 chairs and 2 six-foot tables) – 24×16 space
    • Food Stall – $200 (includes 4 chairs and 2 six-foot tables) 16×16 space
    • Food Permit Required from the City of Malden, it costs $125 and must be paid to the CITY.
  • Extra storage space is available for an additional $125
  • All vendors must pre-register and pre-pay at
  • Payment by checks should be made to OCRC and mailed to Malden Islamic Center 405 Pearl Street, Suite #1, Malden, MA 02148 
  • All vendors will be charged $25 extra for cleaning costs. Still, all vendors must leave their area free of trash and empty boxes.
  • NO REFUNDS after Sunday, August 27, 2023 (12:00 pm-midnight)
